Thread: Pi Zero Hat

    Pi Zero Hat

Final got my prototype of a project that I've wanted for awhile: a minimal Pi Hat just for WS281x (no DMX/Renard/clock). However, it does have four fused power outputs (two for power/data, two for power injection), and the normal buck-converter to drop 12v to 5v (to run the Pi).

Have a few more minor tweaks (lettering-size and some minor spacing), and I think I'm good to go!

    Great idea.

I have to admit, when I saw the first pictures there was an image in my mind of those huge Texas hats on a 5'0" tall person. Don't know why. :|

The DIGWDF engineers solved it this way.

    Effective, and tasty, too!
Even though the DIGWDF Store has closed, it's still awesome! Thanks to all who have supported us through nearly 7 years of excitement!
Parts of the store will remain open for downloading documentation, firmware and Gerber/DipTrace files: http://digwdf.com/store

Yes, I did get my second version up and running for my past years display. I have several extra boards if you’re interested in assembling your own. Or if you want the Gerber file, I can make that available too.
