what lor software do I need for this?

I have my show set up for Biden as that's what I used last year and can't afford the cost to swap to lor controllers at this time. but I thought about buying the sequences that are already made and converting to vixen. can I do this with the demo version? or is there a cheap version I can get so I can look at the lor sequence and convert to vix? thanks for any and all help! wasn t 100% sure if I needed to put this in here or in a vix group. thanks again!

Here's a link to an LOR2VIX converter you can try -- I've used it and it's always worked for me. YMMV... otherwise, xLights can load LOR files and convert them....

I found a sequence I wanna buy from lor and it says they send you a code and you have to do this and that and finally you have to open it in the lor software to "unpack the file" will the xlights allow this? thanks for any help

I believe the LOR pre-made sequences are encrypted. so that key is what you will need to decrypt the sequence. I'm not sure if the LOR software will then let you save it to an un-encrypted sequence. the demo software may work for that but I dont know. I have never used any pre-made LOR sequences so this is all speculation based on my years of using LOR.

    Xlights won’t open encrypted sequences.

so lor not only charges for the sequence, they encode it so you also have to pay for a code to unlock the encoding they have in it. all about the $$$$$$$
